About the project
Topjsurfing is an online store of jet surfboards and water sports equipment. In 2018–2019 I migrated its frontend from a jQuery site to Next.js with Keystone.js as the CMS and API layer.
Beyond the rewrite: customer reviews, CRM integrations, PDF invoices and email notifications for orders. Server-side rendering, clean markup and fast pages were the point of the migration — the store went on to lead its niche in search on speed, validity and SEO.
It was my first Next.js project in production and the beginning of a long specialisation in SSR React.
