egesto.ru — AI platform for Russian state exam preparation

egesto.ru is our own EdTech product: an AI platform for preparing for the Russian state exams — ЕГЭ, ОГЭ and ВПР — starting with English. Students practise exam tasks and get instant feedback; teachers and schools get accounts, groups and progress analytics.

The core feature is the AI examiner. A student records the speaking task aloud — reading a text, answering questions, describing a photo, comparing pictures — and receives a score with a breakdown by the official FIPI criteria: pronunciation, content, organisation, language accuracy. Written tasks are checked the same way. Attempts are unlimited, with a built-in exam timer, and higher plans add live teacher review.

Around the examiner: grammar and vocabulary mini-games, reading and listening sections, video calls and lesson whiteboards for teachers, a dashboard with score predictions. Monetisation is subscription tiers from a free plan to a personal-mentor plan.

Stack: Next.js on the frontend, NestJS and PostgreSQL on the backend, OpenAI models for assessment and the AI tutor. Founder & developer: product, architecture and code — the platform is a live example of how we build a SaaS from scratch.
